ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme

TUNBOW Group was awarded “Manpower Developers – SME” in the 2nd Presentation Ceremony of “ERB Manpower Developer Scheme” by Employees Retraining Board in recognition of the outstanding performance of Manpower Caring & Training. 

The Group takes the people-oriented approach and cares its relationship with the employees.  We strive to provide training for the betterment of manpower.  In the past year, the Group actively develops talents, benefiting all levels, from new comers to management levels.    Four aspects include:

Advancement of Management Levels

  • 2 leaders took the lead to be conferred Honorary Doctorate and the World Outstanding Chinese Award
  • 6 Management Levels are recommended for qualifications advancement and are honored to be awarded the Associateship (APVC) of The Professional Validation Council of Hong Kong Industries
  • Organize "Active Progress" scheme to recognize outstanding employees

Employee Training
The Group determines to provide personnel training and promote talents.  We are committed to offer employees with comprehensive and diversified training to encourage our staff to make sustainable progress and development by participating different training programs for self enhancement and strengthening professional knowledge and skills.

University Collaboration

The Group participates a variety of Collaborative Scheme with schools and organizes internal training program with tertiary institution, such as Hong Kong Science & Technology Park’s Mentorship Scheme, Business Consulting Practicum by Hong Kong University, Co-operative Education Scheme by the City University of Hong Kong’s College of Science & Technology etc., nurturing students to join the industry.

Established by Employees Retraining Board (ERB) in 1999, “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme” is the first award scheme to assess the level of maturity of manpower training and development strategies and practices of organizations in Hong Kong.  The Scheme helps organizations to evaluate the effectiveness of manpower training and development by the assessment criteria developed by consultants, aiming to promote a corporate culture focusing on manpower training and development among organizations, heighten the awareness of the employers and employees of the importance of on-the-job training and continuous upgrading, recognize and support employers who are committed to manpower training and development.  Through the Scheme, ERB has created a diversified, multi-facet and sustainable interactive platform to bring community leaders together to contribute to Hong Kong’s long-term manpower development.

The Group successfully fulfilled the two stages: Preliminary Review and On-site Assessment and is one of the 6 SME awardees as “Manpower Developer” in recognition of the Group’s commitment and outstanding achievements in Leading & Learning Culture, Resources Planning, Training & Development System, Performance Management and Corporate Social Responsibility in Manpower Development.  The Group will continue to put effort to enhance the quality of human resources and strive to become a competitive Manpower Developer.
